About the Right Triangle Calculator
This calculator solves any right triangle from your inputs. Enter two known values and it returns all three sides, both acute angles, the area, and the perimeter.
The tool applies the Pythagorean theorem, a² + b² = c², together with the sine, cosine, and tangent ratios. These standard trigonometric functions find every missing part from two independent values, such as two legs, a leg and the hypotenuse, or a side with an acute angle. Keep all lengths in one unit before you enter them. If only two angles are known, add a side length, because angles alone cannot fix the triangle's size.
