About the Fraction Calculator

It follows the standard fraction rules: for addition and subtraction it uses a/b ± c/d = (ad ± cb)/(bd), for multiplication it multiplies numerators and denominators, and for division it multiplies by the reciprocal. The calculator reduces each result with the greatest common divisor. You enter a numerator and denominator for each fraction, pick an operation, and choose the output format.
