About the Ohms Law Calculator
This calculator computes voltage, current, resistance, and power for a circuit using Ohm's Law relationships. Enter any two known values and it returns the remaining two quantities right away. The output lists every result with its unit.
The calculations use the standard Ohm's Law formula, V = I × R, together with the power relationships P = V × I, P = I² × R, and P = V² / R. You supply any two of these values, such as current in amps and resistance in ohms. Keep units consistent across fields: volts, amps, ohms, and watts. For AC circuits with significant reactance, treat the output as an approximation.
